Diana Jipa and Ștefan Doniga
Violinist Diana Jipa and pianist Ștefan Doniga form one of the most successful duos in contemporary Romanian music. The two musicians are the only classical music performers in the world to have performed on all 7 continents and the only Romanians to hold a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS World Record for a professional musical project, for the Fastest Time to Play a Concert on Each Continent, a record achieved in December 2024 in Antarctica.
In seven years of collaboration, the two young musicians have released two compact discs, presented more than 650 concerts in 30 countries, produced 22 documentary films for the Romanian Public Television and obtained the most important award of Romanian music – the MUSICRIT Award of Excellence of the Union of Music Critics and Editors of Romania.
The materials published online exceed 6,000,000 views on social media platforms and have attracted a number of composers who create works especially for them.
