Joern Siebke

Founder and Principal, Studio Lux Berlin
Joern Siebke is the founder and principal of award-winning interior and lighting design practice 'Studio Lux Berlin', specializing in environments and spaces for hospitality.

With degrees in Landscape Architecture (Dipl-Ing) from Technical University Berlin and Architectural Lighting Design (MFA) from Parsons School of Design, NYC, Joern started his career with renowned hospitality designers David Singer and Tony Chi (Tony Chi and Associates) using his diverse experience to shape seminal projects like Intercontinental Geneva, Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, Park Hyatt Shanghai, Rosewood London Chancery Court and many others.

After a decade of collaborating with hospitality industry luminaries and working alongside later wife and partner Adina Muncan-Siebke the couple relocated to Berlin to set up Studio Lux Berlin in 2011.

Drawing on the partners’ diverse background and extensive international project experience across more than two decades, the practice has developed a reputation for its strategic and equally holistic and impactful approach and has created signature projects for major international operators like EMAAR, Hilton, Hyatt, Kerzner, Marriott and Rosewood as well as private owners/operators.

Joern is a frequent speaker on hospitality design and the impact of lighting.
