Dan Mihai is the founding partner of Mihai & Co. Business Lawyers, a Bucharest-based firm advising multinational and local companies since 2003. With over two decades of legal practice, he has developed a strong reputation in corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, and international arbitration.

His legal advisory work spans industries including hospitality, where he has supported clients in navigating regulatory frameworks, structuring cross-border operations, and resolving commercial disputes. Dan’s experience includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams across jurisdictions and providing strategic counsel to executive boards and management teams in service-driven sectors.

He is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association and serves as Secretary General of the Proteus International Network of Law Firms.. He is appointed as an arbitrator at several international Courts of Arbitrations as: the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS/TAS, Lausanne), EODID Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organisation, Sport Resolutions UK, the Permanent Court of Arbitration with AHK Romania. These roles have equipped him to handle complex international disputes involving branding, licensing, and contractual enforcement across jurisdictions.
